Modern mini quilted wall hanging with “seaglass” shapes in shades of green appliquéd onto a white background. From a distance, a green color story: dark and light, yellow and blue and brown undertones, pattern and scale. Closer inspection reveals treasures: a parrot, a gold metallic sheen, and…are those green beans?
Pockets for hanging with a dowel sewn into the back.
Technique learned from Allie McCathren/Exhausted Octopus.
Note: though this piece is washable, doing so will cause the edges of the “seaglass” pieces to fray.
